I'm doing a blog post. . . . WHAT?

I don't know why I'm doing this. I think I say that a lot. Most likely it's because I am bored and school will more than likely be cancelled tommorrow.

Oh who the hell am I kidding, I can't keep up a blog. I have too much stuff to do.

Windows Xp is not that bad

So the other day I was trying to install the linux distro ubuntu on my computer using the windows installer known as wubi. Well, it worked but when I was setting the OS up, it crashed and left my computer unable to boot both windows and ubuntu. I started to freak out because I use my computer daily and I can't imagine not being able to use it so I frantically dug around my house for a copy of windows XP and boy was I relieved when I found one. Installation took only a few minutes and even though i took me several hours to find all the drivers I needed for my hardware Iv'e got to say that I now appreciate all the support and stability that microsoft offers. All you people who complain about Windows are just wrong, its a good Os and it is number 1 in the world for good reason.

The Last Kiss Review

Alrighty then, it's 1 A.M. in the morning and I'm bored so I'm doing a blog post about a movie that I just finished watching. The Last Kiss is a movie starring Zach Braff, Rachel Bilson, Jacinda Barrett, and Casey Affleck. I'm not sure but I think it was directed by Braff. Since I haven't seen any of Braff's other movies (like Garden State) so this was my first experience with Braff's movie making style and I have to say that i am extremely disappointed. But before I get into what I didn't like about the movie I'm gonna talk about what I liked about it.
The music in this film sounds like it was selected just for me, I'm a huge music fan and I especially like Indie rock ( stuff like the shins, death cab for cutie, clap you hands say yes, and the decemberists) and if you are like me, you will LOVE the music in this film. There were several points in the movie where I thought the dialouge was stupid and the writers needed to be fired, but later in the movieI realized that it didn't really matter because the music was speaking for the actors. There are two scenes that come to mind where there are perfect examples of this. One of these scenes is when Braff's character is caught cheating by his girlfriend and even though he hasn't slept with the woman he cheated with his girlfriend flips out and Braff finds himself back at Kim's (The girl who he was cheating with played by Rachel Bilson) apartment where he basically just jumps on her and they start getting it on. Braff is descending into a pit of wrongness and the music reflects this, It's hopeless and despairing but it also is filled with a sense of wonder which totally captures what this scene was all about.
While the music was good, there was so much in this film that just frustrated the hell out of me. First of all, the dialouge seemed dumb and unrealistic and whenever someone spoke in the film I got the feeling that they had just learned their lines the previous day. Also, while I love Rachel Bilson and her work on the OC is still among my favorite TV performances she was not good in this, she seemed dumb and silly and that is not what was needed in this role. She needed to be a bitch who was seducing Braff and not some goofy little college girl who was just wanting to get laid by an older guy. The Story was generally weak and until the end of the movie I had felt no emotions for any of the main characters (and I think that that was what this film was out to achieve because it certainly wasn't good in any other areas) and I was ready to just turn it off. While this movie got better at the end, I wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone unless they really liked any of Braffs other films or they really, really want to see Rachel Bilson's boobies(defintitely the best part of the movie.)

World of Warcraft - Auto Botting: A Guide to.

So, are you tired of that level 70, been banned, or just feel like you want an edge? Then check out http://mmoglider.com. It is an advanced bot that uses waypoints and character code recognition to grind through monsters as you gain experience. I must precaution that you will get banned if you do not do a lot of reading about the bot in how not to get caught. I recommend first watching this video: http://www.markeedragon.com/buy-sell/world-of-warcraft-bot-wow-glider/. It will give you a general idea how the bot works and how to not get banned. The bot costs $25, but it is well worth it.

To sign up on the forum is a must; without it, you will be clueless as to how to run the program. On the forums, you can download "Profiles"(.xml templates that feed the bot information on what monsters to kill), which is a lot better than making them yourself.

Make sure to read the manual, and good luck! (Safety not guaranteed)

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Review

It was the year 2000 A.D. and I was seven years old. Unlike most kids my age, I had learned to read in preschool and was now reading books on the level that and average 5th grader might read, but I had never read a real novel. I had been reading crappy kids books like The Magic Tree House and other crap like that. It was light fluffy, and none of it stuck with me. I was starting to think that all books were like this. That was until, my mom came home with a book by a British lady that I had never heard of, that book was Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone by J.K. Rowling. I started reading a few weeks after I got it, on a day that I had nothing to do on and I was hooked. the story that JK Rowling wrote captured my imagination at such a young age and I loved that series.
Now it's seven years later and the final book of the series has wrapped up. I'm glad I saw this series all the way through. The emotions that were evoked in me after the end of this book were similar to those that you get when you leave a longtime friend forever. I grew up with these characters and reading their final tale is enough to justify the prie of the book for me and make it worth reading.
That said, this book is pretty well written. There is a point in the middle where they are just wandering around when the story gets a little weak, but besides that Mrs. Rowling has crafted and enjoyable tale from start to finish. The books succeeds in tying up all the loose ends presented in the other 6 books but it also presents some new mysteries that are quite enjoyable to think about and the idea of the deathly hallows as a story point is genius and it presents a new sense of lore and mystery in the story.

The epilouge left me teary and for good reason, this series has been a masterpiece and it has turned my generation on to reading and I hope that it will be remembered as one of the greatest fantasy series ever written, right up there with The Chronicles of Narnia and Lord of the Rings.

Sorry for no posts recently

Yeah, even though no one reads this yet it probably isn't helping that I haven't made any posts and my partner has only made 1 post in his entire career as a blogger. I just want to say that I have plans about what I am gonna post about from now on and will do so regularly. I've changed a little bit but I'm gonna try and bring this blog to greatness even though so far it's been kinda sucky,
